Charities present Tents to 1st Flixton Scout Group |
| On Thursday 18th August 2016, Mike Tonge attended the regular meeting of 1st Flixton Scout Group at their Head Quarters on Lansdown Road North Urmston. Mike was welcomed by Scout Leaders Paul Rostron, David Thorpe, Josh Stevenson, Iain McCaig, Helen Booth, Chris Stevenson, Jenn Carline and Group Scout Leader Norman Lowe. |

| Mike who is the DC of Chorlton Mark Lodge No 394 at Urmston and the Deputy Leader of the composite Group of Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges was delighted to formally present 5 new tents to the group on behalf of West Lancashire Mark Charities at a cost of £1,000 |

| Mike said the scouting organisation was a launch pad for young people to grow into law abiding adults who would impact on their local communities. |

| On Behalf of 1st Flixton Scout Group, we thank you for the very kind and generous donation to the group. Camping is very important within scouting and the tents will mean we are able to take the group away more often and will benefit many scouts over the next few years. |
